So I got an old 150 gallon from a fish store. It's 72 long 24 deep and 20 high. It didn't come with a center brace. Got it all set up tonight and the front is bowing about 1/8 inch. I see some people say it's normal and some people say no way. Of course I didn't notice this until after everything was set up and my old tank was broken down. Huge deal or no? We plan on building a brace.

Welcome aboard

Yes if it was built with a brace it should have one when filled with water.

It would have been nice if someone knew for sure before you bought it.

This is true. I guess what I'm trying to figure out is this. I've heard that some older tanks don't have braces and that some bowing is normal. Should I be super worried at this point? I appreciate your feedback.

Tbh I never experienced a bowing aquarium but hopes it holds together.

This is just a photo I grabbed off google, but I have a 100g and 210g braced like this. It is just a sheet of glass siliconed front to back.
