One last question on Columnaris. I am looking on this site and it doesn't mention a recommended water temp to aide in the cure. The store told my wife that I should increase the temp (currently 76) however one webpage that I was looking at outside of this forum mentions to keep it lower around where I am currently at.

With columnaris, you should definitely lower the temperature to slow the disease. It is one of the few diseases where this is recommended. Raising or maintaining a higher temperature will greatly reduce the fishes' chances of survival. Drop it to 72*-74*
