My tank stand is broken

Hey guys ... i really dont know where shoild i post this so i just post it here if a mod want to change the place of this thread i dont mind

this thing is i have an old tank i didnt use for like 2 years .. so today i want to use it and start set it up
but i found the stand broken so i really dont know what should i do

its a 65g tank ... i just want to ask if i put another peace of glass in the top of it will it work ?? cuz i really cant move it outside the house or meybe add some silicone on it then add other glass i really dont know ... so what are you guys suggest

I would NEVER put an aquarium on a piece of glass that is one HELLA RISKY move

No sir .. i was having a 3cm foam layer above the glass and i will always will be ... i just want to fix this then put some foam

I would remove the glass and put a piece of plywood in placement

65 gal tank will have some weight 300kgs+ as dloks says its a very big risk. 3/4 ply or thicker reinforced with 4x2 or a steel frame is whats needed. If that glass top was damaged with the tank on it, the results could have been awful !!

so i keep the broken glass and put a plywood in top of it ... or shall i remove it then put the plywoods ??
