But what exactly you mean to have more filtration..

well a power head inst going to provide u with biological filtration unless its attached to a large sponge or a under gravel filter.

depending on the power head, u may be able to attach whats known as a sponge filter to it.

other wise u can buy a canister filter or a filter that hangs on the back of ur tank.

u need something to help detoxify the ammonia caused by ur Oscars poo.. im not sure if i can explain it any simpler then that. i hope u understand.
otherwise u may not find a lot of help from some of us.

Let me help him out... All fishes need to poo. This poo is dangerous for ur fish because it contains ammonia/nitrite. It will kill them.The only thing that will take care of this "poo" for you is a special kind of bacteria. After you setup your canister or HOB filter, you will develop the bacteria overtime. Until then, your fish will continue to die because they can't take the ammonia/nitrite.

So hurry up and save your oscars before it's too late

dude, i'm not even that mest up with my fish, i had a RTC, a clown knife, a barb, three oscars, and a 3 inch arowana in a five gallon tank, until i got a bigger fish tank

My powerheads is link to a canister filter with sponge inside it.. i think I had develop good bacteria and cycled tank.. and i do suck up the poo once a week while i'm doing water change.. so the nitrite level should be under control.. so far almost a year, no major problem arise.

any improvement i need to made?? Thanks for the suggestion and opinion.

oh u never mentioned ur power head was linked to a canister filter..good! what canister filter do u have?
