danny, If i could buy some another pleuro, i'll buy it for sure. In poland is very dificult buy channa species. In shops are always only ch. micro.
But yesterday I bought stewartii it's very nice fish

My female was green the male is blue. They only got black noses when horny

I also think the go more speckled with age.

Small, at around 4 inches you could see one was going blue the other remained green.

Fully coloured at about 6 or 7 inches

little set up. My pleuro stopped eat live food for two weeks ,so she grows slow, now it si normaly one fish per day .




I tryied to put in my stewartii she is about 2cm smaller than pleuro but, pleros attac stewartii, ansd i'm afraid about her live.

Indeed they look like they are growing really well, I need to find a 14inch lady for my boy.

He is soo unhappy since she was lost.

A month ago I bought what I thought was 3 Ch. Pleuro... but It turned out to be Ch. marulius instead.. also cool but just grows too large - so now I've sold them

Still would like a couple of Pleuro's though...
