in 2 weeks im gonna start to build my new tank its gonna be 65 long x22 width x 24 height im going show the pic when i finish it is going to house 1 oscar a jd 1 channel cat a pleco 2 blood parrot 1 gold sev give me some ideas what i can put in it:thumbsup:

Waaaay too small for a pacu, they get over 2 feet long. The channel cat will also outgrow the tank soon, they get longer than the pacu will! I would suggest a bullhead, they only get to about 12" and are similar to a channel!

Please don't add a pacu.

I think arowanas and gars would get too big for that tank. Aros often get 30" or more and even small species of gar will grow past 30."

ya how about a Peacock Bass or a Frontosa Cichlid
Frontosas are african cichlids, and they do best w/ harder water, but it might be OK. Peacock bass get over 25 pounds in the wild, and often over 24" in aquariums, so thats too big of a fish! A texas cichlid, green terror, red devil, etc would be a better choice. They stay about the same size as oscars.
