Wow, those are some sexy Temensis? Can you share where you got them from?

Of course R1. I actually picked them up from Rich @ Infinite Aquatics, when they were about 3" a while back. They should be pushing around about 8" right now (just by eyeball) and are starting to get thick. Not sure where they are from, but I understand that they were wild caught.

Those temensis are gorgeous!! Look at that post ocular patch forming already, and the green in the gill opercula is a sure-fire bet they will be show stoppers as adults!!

Of all the Cichla species, races, variants, and types wild Cichla temensis is hands down my clear favorite (followed closely by orinocensis, of course).
