Can you give me the growth rate of your fish? Mine seemed to stalled at this size, about 4 months old. I would love to have them reach the size of the red one. How long did it take to get to that size? A few years I suppose?

yeh few years mate but good diet and keen water is the key to make them grow faster

You only describe pairing the females from this cross, females from almost any cross are often fertile. But fertile, male, 50% anything are rare, most especially a 50% synspila. Synspila hybrids generally have to be in the (approximately) 3/4 purity range to produce fertile male's. Have you photographic evidence?
