flowerhorns aren't super picky about food sources, but they do get tired of foods when fed repetitively for long durations. Usually try cycling them on one food for awhile then next time something else, and so on. Sumo, Red Sumo, JBL, HeiFeng, NLS, Chingmix, and there's a bunch of others.
 
let's make an exception for NLS =D I feed mine this all day everyday too. Sorry for the misconception. I should generalize it more so for the "FlowerHorn" Foods. My large flowerhorns tend to get tired of Red Sumo, and Regular Sumo quick.
