My thingies.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They may make it but usually if a LPS starts to detach unless you get it in super low flow and baby it it's a gonner..
Try putting them down low and low flow and spot feed every other day. if it eats it should heal and or pop some baby heads out that will survive.
As for the "hard coral (SPS I 'm guessing) it should recover quickly once your levels get right..
My alk went down to 4 after my kalk reactor pump went out and I didn't know or a month. cause the PH was good when I fixed it my corals recovered in a few weeks and had a growth spurt.

Those are the ones I recon are savable.

The mag seems to be raising pretty good. Yesterday after I dosed it it read 1150, that's coming up fro 1050. Today I will test again and give a double dose and run another test between doses to make sure I'm not over-doing it.

I tested on Saturday and it read 1300, but when I tested on Monday it said 1050... I'll run the test again today before dosing, then depending on what it is do a single or double dose tonight.

If those corals I pictured above end up dying anyways, I recon I can put some nice zoos on the skeletons and have then grow over them.

My tests are being inconsistent. Doing both tests the exact same way, two back to back tests read 1250, the next said 1150. This can't be good.

Those are some awesome zoas... I wish you lived closer, would love to get a few of each...

BTW what cam are you using ? The pics are amazing..

For tests when you gather the water I heard you should let it sit in a bowl for a half hr. I guess it helps give a more consistent test.
