For tests when you gather the water I heard you should let it sit in a bowl for a half hr. I guess it helps give a more consistent test.

Yeah I did that. Last night I did three tests in a row, first was 1250, second was 1150, third I took directly from the tank and it read 1150 also. Today I'll do a best 2 out of three test and then dose.

And you already know I'd love to get my hands on some of those zoos, mytee!

ISO 100
Fstop 5.8-10
shutter speed from 1/4-1/20
Canon XSi
with the picture style on a custom one I made
w/ contrast up one notch
saturation up two notches
and sharpness up all the way.

make sure your camera is perpendicular with the tank. and clean your glass really well.
I have an acrylic tank so it's crystal clear this helps alot.

things are going ok
can't complane..
Had red bug. killed them..
Had a brown algae problem (first issue for the tank) killed it..
Growing corals and talking to polyps.

I have tubbs blues zoo's
And blue tip tricolor acro and maybe another blue tip acro
the spiderman zoo's are not grown enough, the seahawks are stalled out right now too.

Hey when was the last time you replaced your lights? I just ordered some new bulbs. What do you feed your corals? I feed them some zoo/phytoplankton every once and awhile. Is there any real secret to feeding them?
