Looks like he's got some major HITH scars.

Congrats for taking care of him in his old age. He's 14, thats about as old as they usually get. Well 15.

wow. dunno, something about fish like that, they look great when theyre old and some have stories with the scars
 
My grandma has a oscar that might be able to compete with that. I think it is between 8-10 years old. Her tank is **** though, there are no filters and the only thing that has kept it alive is one lonely powerhead. But it has kept it alive for a long time so its a fishkeeping miracle. There is at least 2- 3 pounds of solid oscar **** at the bottom, but it keeps kickin. So if it is not broke don't fix it. I have took care of that tank for long anough and I am done.
 
That Oscar looks like it has some stories to tell.. :D
