Next step, dig down to increase the depth and create a nice slope to a sump location for waste to collect. Line the inside with cement boards to protect the liner. Tape up the joins. Add some fine sand around the base. Add some metal re-enforcing brackets to the top poles. Create a 4" wide rebated frame for the acrylic panel to sit in. Add some black rubber sheeting to fit between the wooden frame and the acrylic.

Getting close now. Put the acrylic panel in the frame. Its only held in by 4 tiny screws. No attempt to make a water seal has occured yet. I lined the bottom of the pond with old plastic sheets. Put the rubber pond liner in. Cut out a window in the liner. Prepare some 1" wide stainless steel strips and pre-drill matching small holes in them and in the acrylic. The stainless steel screws only go into the acrylic about 1/4". Now you have to be quick. Apply acid cure silastic to the pond line and acrylic. I used a 2 " wide glue area and dual strips. Quickly attach the liner to the acrylic and screw the stainless streel strips through the liner into the acrylic. Tidy up, leave a few days to dry, fill with water and you know the rest. Try not leave any power boards or bits of liner handing over the front as this can cause distress in some people.:naughty:
