Has anyone here ever kept these? Just wondering if there are any tricks to get them to spawn?

Aren't they like unknown to breed in captivity or have they? That would be awesome if they so spawn doesn't the female and male both incubate them?? very cool species!!

Ummm..... Nope, sorry man. and thanks. They have spawned in captivity. Although, the only recorded spawns that I am aware of have been in europe and Portland Oregon. Both parents do take turns brooding.

cool deal hey i should have called you today but i got extremely busy at work today man i am going to keep 6 of those baby ornatipinnis and turn them into BAP so i can at least get an award for my efforts and i should have a couple left and i will send them to you soon our next meeting is this sunday i will call you..
