A clarification: When I mention "pushing and shoving," it is more along the lines of coaxing, pursuading, and guiding in a general direction. My girlfriend was not physically harmed. If that were the case, we would have a murder scene on our hands.

well i am sure your girlfriend is proud of you for the protection you provided.. and i am happy to hear you are okay and the parents are okay with you.. Because really any one could understand the circumstances that lead up to what you did, i just hope this becomes just a misdemeanor so you don't have to deal with it the rest of your life.. was this party town anywhere by Toms River, because when i was young{around your age} that is exactly how the partying went on..everyone just crashed everyones party.. :grinno:

haha- same thing happened to me last year...except it was a random party, my buddies sister, we didnt go to jail and it took more than a day to sober up...haha

Great story btw...always good to have a buddy that got ur back...too bad i only got one.

oh yeah
FYI- not a good idea to leave ur girl with a group of guys you dont know, especially at a party, no matter how faithful she is....im sure you figuered that one out though ;)

Thats awesome that your parents were so understanding. A lot of teenagers aren't so lucky. What happened to the other guys? Did you see them in the pokey? I hate the way that cops can handle things sometimes. Why did you go to jail? You were obvously already seperated from the other guys, so there wasn't a chance of a 2nd fight. When the cops got to the party, I assume that everything was back to normal and the other guys were nowhere to be seen? Because you were drunk? So were they, right? Now, because they cried a little, you have to deal with this **** and they got away when they were the true offenders. It's B.S. that a scuffle can turn a young man into a criminal. Especially when those crybaby b**ches made themselves look like victims.:irked:

Why didnt your girlfriend come directly to you right when they started "pushing and shoving"? I think she would have known what they were trying to do.

As of now, I'm straight with the law. I was never "booked," just incarcerated for public intoxication. I'm not sure how the legal system works, but in the event I'm sued, it will be for monetary gains, not legal persecution, correct?

She was drunk, I'm assuming/hoping.

they where drunken minors....hmmm...and if the other guys said they wanted to press charges, he would have been detained also.

Yeah, if you wern't arrested, I highly doubt that they will find something now to arrest you for. If the other two decide that their noses have pain and suffering, then you could end up in court battling them for a few bucks.
