This is still 3M Grade T (the bigger one). I just read Spotfin Thread about his rays and 3M gravel. I'm thinking about this problem and I lost :( I don't know what to do...

Thank you ;)

Mike

I have had 3m for 3 years maybe more, never lost a ray. i dont think it was the cause. I have talked with the distributors and they say the stuff does not leach, and that stomach acid will not break it down. So i still feel safe. I am still using it with my hystrixs and my Flower. But Black looks better for hystrix :naughty:

Nice looking rays, I would take some of the sand out tho.... you dont want more than half an inch to 3/4 of sand with rays.... leads to water issues from all of the crap that gets down into it.

Well, I think that I stay with 3M, or maybe later change to another one. When I had Motoro, white was better; now I have Hystrix and I know that black graver will better, but... well... we will see :)

Thanks !!!

In my new tank (I just order 4"x4"x1") - specially for Hystrix I will put only 1/2-3/4 inch.

Thank you :)
