My TSN is sick I think

sounds like a bad amonia spike to me. catfishe's wishkers often erode in bad water conditions. You did good by bringing stuff from your already cycled aquariums, but even then I would start it out with cheap danios, and test the water params for at least a month to make sure it is not gonna spike! This is also consistant with the gill covers being red. Not sure what to tell you cept he will probably die in that water if it is high amonia. they also lose their wiskers often with fin and tail rot. Ammonia spikes are probably the number one killer of fish in a new tank. if there is no existing tank that he can be moved to I would probably try ammo lock or something chemical as a last resort. normally i wouldn't suggest it, but in this case i don't know that you have an option! Good luck and keep us updated.

also if you can you might try switching a filter from your other tanks if you have an extra one on one of them.

Ya ok Ill do that

what about also adding water from my already estabalished tanks ?? like doing a 90 % water change ?

i did this once. i did 50% changes daily over a week and the water params checked fine from then on out. just remember that exsisting tank water will have high nitrate and after your params check clear you will need to start changing water regularly like you do with your other tanks. I don't know that anyone else will suggest this, but i am sure it is better than adding new water which will only lengthen the amount of time for your tank to cycle! good luck

also read carefully on any chemicals you add, catfish are naked skinned(scaless) fish and are sometimes less tolerent of chemicals than fish that have scales.
