Somewhere
I made the mistake of putting my TSN with my Amphilophus Lyonsi overnight and the next morning my TSN was a little beat up, tail and fins shredded, nothing too bad. I put a divider in immediately. Now my TSN's whiskers are shriveling up, he is not eating, he is swimming sluggishly, and he has a little bit of mucus in certain spots. What should I do? He has gotten skinny from not eating too, so I am really worried.

The mucus doesnt normal, you TSN it could be sick, no eat, mucus, tail and fins shredded, can be syntomps of sick fish :(, check the syntomps online.

or you TSN its really damaged for the Amphilopus, bad water conditions or its sick really.

I'd add some salt to the water and up the temperature a bit, and make sure the water is perfect. The slime sounds like it could either be scrapes or bruises, it *could* be sickness but since he was healthy when you moved him I'm guessing it's probably not. Most likely related to the attack from the other fish.

I recently moved my tsn and he got beat up a little in the new tank because he was skittish. He went on a hunger strike for about 4 days but he started eating again and is now nearly fully recovered. :)

Thanks for the help. He hasn't eaten for 2 days, but he ate like a pig before the attack, so hopefully he will start soon. Will the shriveled whiskers heal along with his fins?

Most likely they will, as long as the base is still there it can grow back, mine's fins also healed very fast, in only a few days all the major tears are unnoticable.
