No, the african tiger fish is very passive towards the tankmates and just minds its own business.

I think many people can't distinguish the difference between "appetite" and "aggression".

The african tiger fish has lots of appetite, but don't really display aggression unless being provoked.

you mean the african tiger fish?

they're just plain silver fish with slight red on the fins but you can't see it on my fish because I use light colored sand as substrate.

they also have spotting on the scales, but then again, I use light sand so that characteristic does not prominently show very well on my fish.
