My turn....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i noticed the redness when i took her out, nothing before that, im guessing bacterial so im removing all the sand just in case.... all other tankmates are fine, between the 3 of them they ate a whole lb of shrimp last nite

My condolences Kevin. I know this sucks. We all need to put our heads together and figure out what's going on.

sorry if over analyzing... but how big are the other 3 if they can consume a pound of shrimp!!! If they are that big, I can't imagine that the ray that died was all that comfortable in the tank with them! Not trying to flame, I really want to know, b/c a pound of shrimp is, idk, enough for 3 x 20" rays?

Sorry for your loss.

^^ I'm pretty sure this played a part in mine. She was fine until introduction of 2 larger rays that were VERY aggressive during feeding time....
