hes a map turtle my husband has had him since he was a baby about the size of a dime.. Thats all we have here in Missouri is map turtles... I have a cooter and she female she will not breed with him no matter how hard he trys.. i think they would have babies by now.. our red ear slider did and now we have a baby from her only one survived.. Ill take pics of them show you the difference to you tomorrow .. Im to tired to argue..

Spaz is definately not a Map! Find me a picture of a map that looks like that and I'll eat my own turtles lol. Post a pic of him on a reptile forum and you'll see. There are several different types of cooters too. There's also no such thing as a yellow bellied cooter either, it's a yellow bellied slider. Maybe calling them map turtles is a regional thing?

AND charlet_2007, those poor things have absolutely NO place to bask in that tank. I know you put them in a different one but they NEED a place to bask.
they do have a place to bask now... like i said that was back when we didnt have the 150g we have now...
