that's a neat looking setup. but why oh why did you have to call it twilight :duh: you wouldnt have lost cool points if it you said it was inspired by the forests of say, lord of the rings, jurassic park, etc etc lol ;)

LOL

Thanks =3

I really like the forest.. and hiking in it day or even sometimes nighttime. I chose twilight becuase it showed me how nice the forest of the BC cost was... and i really liked it. And i thought if i did twilight i can play around with the lighting and have two different type or colors to represent day time and twilight. Giving the tank a different mood depending on the lighting. I also love Tetras and schooling Fish alot so this is were i had a chance to give them roles to play. =D

The Diamond tetras fit the vampires cuz they dart around the tank ver fast like in the movie and sparkle.. i myself prefer the traditional vampires who dont sparkle. lol.. but i was following a theme in this case =)

The colors and paterns of the cors almost reminded me of the wolfs colors and their pack tatoo patern. And they schooled which is what i like.. Being bottom feeders and the way their odes are almost like being on Fours. These guys come out of the bushes just like in the wolves movie...

Having these two types of fish allows the tank to have middle to top swimmers as well are bottom swimmers. =D

theres also random ghost shrimp in the tank that have changed into different colors 0.0. they represent the animals that the Diamond tetras(Vampires) Hunt... cuz their babies always eaten lol.

I have thought about the volturi... but i would have done them in a different tank.. i would have used Congo tetras becuase they are more agressive.. and they also have a shine to theme when fully grown.

Guppy and Arapima lol nice =D

hmm as for the sticks i just stuck them in the gravel, it was deep enough to hold them in place... they were original on a slate which i used epoxy to bind.. but eventualy when i redid the trees some came off so i just took them all out and just stuck them in the gravel... no tress has ever popped loose lol.

I went to the forest one day with a black garage back and a saw...
i came back with a fulll bag which i bleached and then dechlorinated.
God knows what those kids playing hockey thought they they saw me enter the forest that day. lol

THanks for Watching =D

It looks good. I do think the plastic plants take away from it a bit though. Maybe you could try attaching different plants to the sticks.

It's cool to see a themed tank, regardless of the theme. :headbang2
