Im not sure if they hide alot, my Histrix rays, or my blue rays never hid this much. its 200 gallon tank 72"X24X28". Water parameters are good and normal. i was just wondering do they not like current i have 2 big powerheads along with my fluval FX5. they come out and eat well they show no signs of stress they are about 7-8" in diameter. I may be worried for no reason they will come out and swim a few laps once and a while but back under the log? and always together oh and they are male/female.

They'll situate themselves where they're most comfortable. If you're concerned there's more current than they prefer, alter the position of one or both heads or shut one off. If they're out more with less bottom current, you'll know there was too much.

What kind of substrate? If they can't hide in sand, they will probably find an alternative. Every fish will look for some kind of cover.

How much lighting do you have, as stingrays hate bright lights. My rays love current and enjoy swimming against it so i don't think thats the problem.
