I'm like 1/4 fluent in German. Don't want to embarrass myself though so I'm not Gunna post in it.

Miguel, I would really NOT keep wels and koi at the same pond. For a certain reason I had to keep the wels for some time in the same tank with a carp, and despite the fact that the carp was much too big to be eaten by the wels, one of them attacked it for several times, what resulted in one case in a quite ugly wound. Most of the time they were doing very well all together, but one problem is, that wels will sometimes even attack other animals, which are not much smaller than themselves.

Yeah, if keeping the two together was possible I'd already have one.. Thinking about giving away my koi or building a new pond for them so I can get a wels.
