is there any common sense left in the world??

sorry for your loss OP, thats terrible to hear. i would post a thread in the marketplace asap so you could find those fish a better home. im sure youll have no problems giving them away

i wished i lived closer i would take the gar in a heartbeat :(

I am in CT, not that far away. I could take the pacu immediately. I don't want any of the others long term, but have an empty 210 in my yard that could be loaned for a month or so.

These pools are 8' around by 30 inches and hold about 600 gallons of water. I have one in my back yard right now with my pacu. I am transitioning from a 210 to a 450 which is why the 210 is in the yard. Once the stand is finished the fish will all come indoors to the new 450 I just bought.

FYI those 640 gallon pools cost about $70. They are really cheap and will hold you over for a month or so while you sort this out.

Get rid of most of them. The pacu, RTC, and gar were a bad idea from the get go. Then you can decide if you wanna keep 1 oscar, 1 RD or the JD in the 75 gal.

I’m deeply saddened by the unexpected death of a close family member this past Wednesday. In the past year alone we managed to acquire a 75 and 150 gallon tank for the first floor of the house. The love of Oscars led to the purchase of two, as well as the fascination of Red Devils did. With the arrival of the 150 came an Alligator Gar and a Red Tail Catfish..
