"My ]V[ ini ]V[ onster"

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hey ya I would recommend a puffer. There crazy.
And the bronze puffer. Would be better known as an avocado puffer.
Highly aggresive and stays small. If I was u I would get a fahaka. Yes it does get maybe to a foot. But as a fishkeeper ur there top stop its growth.
The fahakas are even more aggresive then the avocados.
Anything that goes in the tank will be dead

yeah.. they are also total predators and aggressive . i've seen these things track down guppies in HUGE mats of java moss with little problems, and strike like lightning. they will beat up most any other surface dwellers. they are MONSTERS! like aros, make sure you have a very tight lid, or they will leap out of the tank.

african butterfly fish are cool and so would a school of exos in a planted tank.

Do you want something always active or something more lurky/predatory? I love my Nandus nandus. They are like a small version of a Largemouth Bass, but with better colors IMO!

I would love to see an e-cat that big, unfortunitly, i think they are all in giant zoo tanks or the Nile. I have always wanted to see a platinum african butterfly, no that would look like an aro! as far as the african leafs and leopard cetenopamas, they basicly require the same care, and i bet if they are the same size could be kept together. I have tried and failed to get some leopard cetenopamas, but the lfs has had the leaves and i love watching them eat. and bichers are always cool to watch

We sell the african butterflys where i work, there amazing. But if i had a 55 i would def go pirahna.

you cant really do piranhas in a 55 or if you did you could only do like one red belly.

but i like black rhoms. alot more than any other piranha they are more vicious. But they can only be kept solitary.

so if i were you i would go with a Bronze Puffer (avacado) i have had this puffer before and it had so much personality and they get about 4". They are definatly mini monsters! if you throw a earthworm in the tank you see the evil side of it!:naughty:
