Ditto... however I have trouble dishing out $$$ for fish that don't get two feet long.

LOL,now that I think about it,all of the big money fish that I've shelled out for were large growers.All discus are not expensive though.

looking better. you can try using plastic clamps on the back to hold branches horizontally. I have hanging lights and use the pole to tie wood to. don't be afraid to lay a few down. you might try a small stump to give it some demension.

so i have seen discus and i would love some in the future but as for now i am to much of a noob with only my second tank, but my question is is there a special type of wood used for discus or will almost anything ok? I understand some stuff will contaminate water if not properly cleaned but other than that?
 
what kind of sticks are you using? I like the look you have going.
