How long did it take to get that big? Mine are on the 4" per year pace.

i've had this guy since march 2011 and it was about 3.5-4"...growth was slow up till about 6/7"....but recently its just taken off...eats 10+ massivores everytime along with smelt and/or tilapia on the side...although water quality has been a lot better.

no...it just starting eating a lot more....became bolder

Looks good, I have one eating everything and anything(pellets and frozen) and It's growing like a weed now.

Yea that's a pretty good pic I think. I always wanted vittatus but they always were small and I had too big of fish in tanks already. Having one that size that you grew is achievement. Good job. Has that avtf ever killed a tankmate since you've had it.

Thanks, the only tankmates its killed were smaller than him, mainly the roseline barbs that taught it how to eat pellets

Haha, Roseline sharks in front of an ATF looks like a big hot dog to them. I have 3 roselines but they're in a separate tank.
