hey you don't have to promise...we all want more fishes lol like when we spot something cool and maybe unusual..we want it...it happens to me all the time but i always have to stop and think wether it will fit in my tank and or it will have a good start with my already occupants in the tank...;)

I always think, how long will I have before my wife discovers it. And I'm not lying when I say it's been in there forever.

Nice cat girl. You saw what I asked Nick to look for. He's hooked me up with a jur and a fire eel so far.

LOL My hubby was like...where the hell did that fish come from (points at ever growing rtc)..

"I've had him for a couple months...."

Nice, I was thinking of trying a Fire Eel out. I have been looking them up a lot. I think what had got me liking them is that picture on here that they guy had his arm stretched out and the eel was longer then it. Colors were really nice too.

Haha it always happens that way. I get it, wont say anything, then a few weeks later, when did you get that? Baby.. I've had him forever...

I think that was rallysman's eel you're talking about. The only problem with them is they hide a lot when smaller.

Great fish, had these in the past, there reputation is not deserved they are not mean at all. there reputation for ripping chunks out of fish is probably due to the picture in the old TFH catfish atlas, as it shows a large Brachyplatystoma being hauled in a boat with large chunks out of it and the caption mentions C macropterus and Ceptopsis sp, but probably Ceptopsis doing the damage and these doing the scavenging. Anyway great catfish that will get better with age.:)

That's good to know. I felt so bad after I saw him beat up. I never even thought about owning one, but when I saw Nick had some I looked them up and thought they were gorgeous. So I said what the heck, add him to the box with the gar. haha.

He finally ate tonight. I tried bloodworm's last night, he wanted nothing to do with them. I tried shrimp tonight and he scarfed it down.

Yeah I think so too. PetLand has one or two I think right now and they want 60? They are pretty small. I know FRP has some for 20 I think?

Ask Nick first, he got me a nice one at about 12 inches.

Petland is always over priced. They even have a sign up now saying that the fish prices will go up due to shipping charges, and there is no more member discount on saltwater fish, and or return if it die once you leave the store. Prices were already high, now they want to add more to it? They are crazy.

Yeah Nick is usually the first person I goto to try to get something.
