Its gotta be hard to differentiate them from leerii:/
Although mine at 13" was noticably fatter and thicker. Could it be a leerii? I cant tell for sure coz ive yet to have a positive id. He was docile before that but would occasionally take shots at other tankmates. With regard to growth he pretty much kept pace with an rtc but not inch per inch. More like when he hit 13" my rtc was 15" ish. Very interesting fish tho

Update: had a massive growth spurt with this fish... probably close to 18" now with a noticeably fatter body.
Haven't shared a photo of this beast for almost 5 months so heres a photo of him now... 19" and as fat as my bicep
