Nice. You have the same type I have hardly no reddening on the body. I've seen other types with a lot more red at a much smaller size. MIne are between 10-12" at 1-1/2yrs

Nice looking WB group. Are there different species of WB? Or just collection point variants or hybrids ? I'm going to have to get a pic of my three on here. One has a red flank and all three anal fins are blue.. They outgrew a 125 and are pacu thick . Make my 10" media Luna's RHK look small

I think there are at least 3 different variants or the widebars from different collection points. We no narrowbar and widebar have the same scientific name. I think there different species. I seen lots of pictures of Widebars and believe there are at least 3 different types that come from different locations. The type I have come from Peru that's what Rapps said they were from.
Wow, those are some big boys. The size of a dinner plate! They make the 1 foot ruler at the bottom of the second pic look like a toothpick; made me do a doubletake. Nice job on growing them out.
What do you feed them and how often?
I have 8 and they are bottomless pits. Mine always look thin to me even though I feel like I feed them a lot. They seem to have crazy fast metabolisms.
