Not knowing what sizes they are but judging from the adult (possibly male) blue gourami, I am guessing the larger one is about 4-4.5” and the smaller 3-3.5 to 4”. If so, they are done growing (but could grow a very little more) and instead can just become thicker. But they certainly can live several decades. Three of my specimens (M. Maculatus) are now about 25 years old.
 
Well, I’m glad they are done growing, I was afraid that they were missing something that stopped their growth. Like they won’t eat veggies. I’m almost disappointed they live that long, I’m waiting for the fish to die to make room for a fahaka. But, all my fish seem to live forever. Oh well, I do love my fish, it just seems like I’m going to have them all for the next decade or so!
 
So my spotted congo puffer, newly named Leopold, formerly The Dude, is doing really well. I should probably try to get some pictures up soon!
