so my wife wants some pepper spray or ???? for protection from dogs and "bad guys" while she walks with our kids. i know nothing about this stuff and she wont carry a gun/knife. so i need some help on what to get her thats not only effective, but also easy to use and safe enough to keep kids from accidently using it( not fool proof but some sort of safety on it).

ONly thing I can think of is pepper spray or a stun gun. Both should be out of reach of children though.
Taser for sure. Some shoot the long electric sorta like dart things the other ones and full contact eg, neck, arm you name it.

Not a taser, but a stun gun. The kind you put up against someones body and shock them. They have ones strong enough to temporarly paralyze and area of contact.
taser or cs gas...either will do the trick effectivly lol. although over here wer not allowed anything. and if we got caught carrying a gun and shot someone in defence we woiuld still be done for it...no matter what the bad guy had done.
