My wifes first Carp

the cats with always bite real good before a thunderstorm. the high pressure gets them feedings hard. I always catch my best ones as the storms are rolling in and when theyre moving out. have to be careful in the thunderstorms though, and the rain isnt my favorite thing.

Anyways nice catfish and great job with the carp they are tons of fun.

She really had a blast.. we just bought her a cataraft. This past summer we did a lot of river running with my 9' cataraft and a borrowed 8 footer. She was pretty scared to run a river for the first time in one but once she got in and found out how much control she had she was addicted.. we even did overnighters.. those were awesome nights, we found an island with a nice sheltered inlet for beaching the catarafts out of sight from the main river and a camping spot surrounded by brush that gave a very secluded feeling.. less than 1 mile from town and we were camping.
