what kind of lighting do you use?
i'm looking for something warm and not too harsh. my wilds are still really skittish at the moment. is there anything that gradually lights up?

These pics were taken with just one T5ho bulb, a Giesseman Aqua Flora bulb. It's a pink plant bulb, but it gives the fish and tank a nice hue. Although I have switched it up to a 3000k LED floodlamp and I gotta say it looks pretty cool. The tank looks really natural, like a very accurate biotope compared to stadium lighting of T5HO

Built the stand this weekend and drilled 3 holes in the tank. Gotta drill 2 more holes and skin the stand. Then I can start working on building an overflow box, plumbing, and custom background

Man I dont know whose tanks I love more. Jose's or Danny's. You guys give me inspiration to raise discus. But they are just too expensive right now. It's incredible what you guys do with your tanks. Keep up the awesome work with those breathtaking discus.

LOL! You still need water to do a water change, can't refill with Prime only.

I meant tapwater, as in not aged, not RO, etc etc. Of course I add Prime
