Interesting have not heard that theory before. And having never owned a wild caught saum before i wouldn't really be able to know. However, it would make sense, since i have tried medding him 2 times now, nitrates never go above 5, a tad of salt, 30Celcius, varied diet.
I feed him all sorts of different things. Veggie flakes, NLS veggie pellets, NLS Cichlasoma formulae, Hikari Massivore, Bloodworm, Raw fresh shrimp, Mussels, and chopped up samon filet.
