Exceptionally bad picture quality, of an exceptionally good looking fish in my opinion.
Well, you get the idea.

He is 6".

Nice strong tail on him.
Yeah, i think he has some good potential.

Just need to put on some bulk at the same rate as he is gaining length.

Have been battling both ich and what i suspect was an internal parasite. You can kinda see his stomach area bulging inwards sort of.

Anyway, thanks for your comment.

Lovely GT...

I tend to think that inwards stomachs are a characteristic of wild caughts.

what are you feeding it?

Very nice. His face shape somewhat resembles a young midas(to me at least). Very nice. Where did you get him from?

Interesting have not heard that theory before. And having never owned a wild caught saum before i wouldn't really be able to know. However, it would make sense, since i have tried medding him 2 times now, nitrates never go above 5, a tad of salt, 30Celcius, varied diet.

I feed him all sorts of different things. Veggie flakes, NLS veggie pellets, NLS Cichlasoma formulae, Hikari Massivore, Bloodworm, Raw fresh shrimp, Mussels, and chopped up samon filet.

Yeah, come to think of it, it kinda does doesn't it :naughty: Amphilophus species being my favorite species, it's a double win with this fish, LoL!

Picked him up when i went to germany like 7 months ago. Couldn't resist :)

He is a really nice looking fish (I see the Midas looking face too). I would only add I'd stick with the pellets and back off on the meat and add some skinned peas to the diet most of them eat those like candy and they really keep the digestive system moving. Nice color and good form, great pick-up good luck with him.

Thanks, i'll definatly try the peas. How often and how many would you estimate i should throw in there as a replacement for some of the meat, and what meats would you cut out?
