My wild jack dempsey's

Yeah when I see white on the head I always assume HITH, But I understand. My Jack has skitzed out a couple times and cut himself. Glad to hear he is healthy.

Ira is a respectable vendor. Just asking because a lot of times when fish like this are caught in the wild they are released pets or fry that have established themselves in the wild.

Yeah they are pretty skittish but they are unique with the red they display

I can see the "red" bellies on one of them, only reason is because I have a pair my self from Ira. Any luck on breeding yet? How long have you had them and about how big are they?

is a wild JD distinguishable because of its slightly pinkish underside? this is my jd and i am positive it isnt wild caught, just curious about the differences..
