This is a xanthic florida gar, Lepisosteus platyrhincus. This is a wild caught specimen, caught and sold to me by MFK's own vendor and my friend, John AKA snookn21.

Here it is in all of its golden glory. Keep your eyes on this thread for photos of its rapid growth and its move next week to the five hundred gallon aquarium. Also tune into the gar sub-forum for additional pictures and videos.

I am trigger happy and upload happy, so deal with the excess and very similiar-looking pictures in a seemingly endless supply. Enjoy!
