I'm not messing around. I like my fish a lot. I know the feeling when you lost one, especially the precious one.

Here it is in all of its golden glory. Keep your eyes on this thread for photos of its rapid growth and its move next week to the five hundred gallon aquarium. Also tune into the gar sub-forum for additional pictures and videos.

Do you think what would be the most reasonable reason?

Yes... I know there has been no updates for a very long time. There could be any number of reasons for this:

1) There are some local and shady NY MFK'ers who I do not like publicizing my basement and/or wallet to.
2) I am more interested in my 500 gallon tank than the smaller ones and focus my updates on that.
3) The golden gar died unexpectantly.
4) Due to economic hardship I was forced to sell the golden gar.
5) I am just cruel and/or lazy.

I hope that everyone can understand the above possibilities and give me some peace on the matter...

I hope that Goldy isn't dead! He's quite the awesome gar, and we can understand if you'd rather keep him to yourself to avoid any problems with local MFKers.

But reGARdless, you have some the nicest gars around, so I'm perfectly happy with just seeing pictures of the 500 gallon gar aquarium.
