My Yellow Anaconda

Already a gorgeous anaconda!
Funny how Richie red 'roam' instead of 'room'.
But half a room should be enough for your male.

A sunken pool with drainage would be handy.
Dont need crap in the pool to be convinced of such an easy maintenance issue.

Green or big anacondas in captivity get about 17', simply because it takes time
to get huge. Reckon 15-20 years.
IMO anacondas are third longest snakes. retic and amethist pythons get longer. Anacondas are the heaviest snake for sure.
And yellow anacondas get as big as Bottomfeeder says.
But exeptions are to be expected.

When I said a room I mean specially set it up for him with a large water area and land area etc, not have him wandering around me when I decide to watch TV!

Yeah, ive herd anaconda's are one of the slowest growing snakes but I think thats an advantage to have more time handeling him as he grows so hopefully he will be used to it by the time hes big

haha, I had to read that statement twice before I got it, I thought you said roam too. Unless you are going to go all out and make the room really nice, I would suggest a cage. You can get some really nice big ones for less money than it would cost to outfit a room from Boamaster. I highly recommend them- cheap prices and great quality...

Ill look into that but remember ill be using a whole room for my nile monitor eventually, by choice XD

well, you are not mixing them are you? you are going to need to put your conda in a cage when it comes time for your nile to go into the room.

Im not the smartest person in the world but I know not to mix them lol! Ill DIY a cage for the conda, my mate is a joiner
