My ZZ x Thai silk Flowerhorn needs a boyfriend

A friend of mine, Owns a LFS.
He told me that he got a FH as a trade in.
I told him last week, I was looking for one.
I didn't get it. Because I'm not sure of sex.
Or exactly what it is. The guy who turned
it in. Said he bought it as a Golden Monkey.
It's about 3 1/2" long, And looks healthy.
But any idea what kind.

She's a pretty girl already, It would be nice to see her full potential.

Yes very pretty already , mine looks very similar. She was dark with red and very pearly.
When she paired (in my community tank) the dark color lightened allot and turnd a vibrant red which gave more color to the pearl and revealed some other underlying hidden coloration.

Very pretty!, Looks a lot like mine. And I have seen mine lighten up like that.

Thanks , mine used to stay a dark brown , since she paired no eggs (don't think.she is fertile) but stayed in breeding colors for last 6 months,

I worry about if she's fertile as well. Between my Dempseys, Jags, And Oscars.
