If you only had it for a day, then i reckon it wouldve had a disease or a problem before you bought it to be honest since your other cichla is getting along fine with your TSN and all the water params and temp are ok..

when he was in the bag his tail kept going upwards. the pbass have been there for a month it was from the same batch i got the other one from a month ago.
do u think i should go back and get the other 2 or just wait for new ones.

If not disease

Ammonia poisoning would be my conclusion. This look is common for ammonia poisoned fish in my experience.

Next time I would take a picture just for the sake of accuracy
