Have not posted in a bit...Everything was going so well. i seemed to get my 150 gallon thru the 40 hour loss of power. I ran my fx5 off my car.....I completely cleaned out my xp3 and changed the filter pads since it sat stagnant for two days plus. I did a 50% water change and my water parameters were fine. temp was 80. Suddenly yesterday I noticed my airpump had quit overnight. I had three dead thinbars. 7", 6" and 5.5". All were immaculate. firm gills. No marks. Stiff and dead. Only one IT remains in the tank. My NGT, 4 Indos, one AT and everone else is fine. Only the IT died. Are there some sensitivities prone to IT tigers that are different from the others. Very bummed. Tought to replace. Had them nearly two years from less than 2".

correction.....it was not IT that died ....Ntt....thin bars...

Woooo!...Your name and that title really gave me a scare....Sorry about the NTT though.

sorry for your losses

thin bars dont take well to power cuts

i had a 6 hour cut all other much much larger fish were fine and the only fish to die was a thin bar

Dont worry man.....the NGT is just fine. VERY slow grower though. My 4 indos and my AT are just fine. I have only one thin bar left form my group. I located one nearby I might grab next week if me tank remains stable. How are your ST??

Running on a canister? Place the outlet above the water level. If the air pump is to fail u again at least there is some aeration from the bubbles created by the gushing of water from the canister outlet
