i found a Mysterious transparent pouch of eggs on a leaf in my 15 gallon planted tank yesterday!

what fish/inverts makes Mysterious transparent pouches of eggs??

in the tank i have the following creatures:

- cardinals

- corydoras

- cherry shrimp

- few snails

the pouch is about 1/4'' in diameter. it kinda cool looking...

snails

Pic's? Could help those more knowledgable on the matter.

My guess would be snails. Some species lay there eggs above water like briggs but other lay the eggs in a clear gel like substance under water which sounds like what you got.

I think cardinals are egg scatterers and corys lay there eggs indiviually ok a flat surface not in a gel clump like snails. Not sure bout shrimp I would imagine them being like crayfish sheltering there eggs under there tail but not sure never messed with shrimp.

even one of certain types of snails will produce eggs. i found a pond snail about 3 weeks ago and now i have multiple snails and multiple eggs

i would of total gotten a photo for u guys but its hard the pouch, its at the back of tank.. my camera would of made me look like i was taking a picture of a big green blurry acid trip.
