Could be the Blue Tilapia very common in Florida, Oreochromis aureus which is endemic from S Africa to Israel and Syria.I believe in the Sea of Gallilee they are known as St Peters fish.
Very tolerant of varying waters conditions (high salinity) and temp.

And also Mexico. I was reading up on herichthys tamasopoensis and found they are also found with them. Probably found everywhere in Mexico because of man.

Of the last 2 pictures the top pic is of a blue tilapia I found on Google. The last is my fish. I appreciate everyone's responses. Guess I will grow him out and see what I get.

Egg spots on anal fin probably means some sort of mouthbrooder. Oreochromis mossambicus?
Yes I did read a little about the Oreochromis but didn't look through many pictures. I wasn't sure those were egg spots because a lot of small cichlids show patterns in their fins but I think you got it. The Mozambique tilapia and the common blue tilapia easily crossbreed producing the florida red tilapia. Like a lot of cichlids kept in the hobby these are tasty food fish. Thanks for helping identify my fish!
