i bought a "jack dempsy" lol at my lfs last week. at first i thought him to be a blue texas but all the pics i see of blue's have stripes like a convict he has one thick, from tail to middle of fish, stripe. it has blue around it. pic will be up in 30 mins hopefuly (cant see the bottom half of cell phone so have to figure out how to change from 123's to abc's) but yea my question is do texas blues come without the vertical stripes but instead one thick black with blue around it horizontal line?
