mystery fish?

hey guys, bought a fish and cant remember the name of it.
All that i know is that its a chichlid and it looks alot like a bolivian ram
here are some pics so hopefully you can identify it for me...

Looks to be some type of Apistogramma

Which would fall under the SA/CA Cichlid category. A dwarf.

ya thx man, i googled it and it looks just like it, except mine has shorter fins
its cuz i was jw about the requirements for it

I'm pretty sure it's an Apistogramma macmasteri although it could be Api. vejita. My spelling could be horrible on both of those as well haha.

Nope. Its definitely not a ram, but an apisto. Nice one at that.

Nice little Apistogramma but he's right. I haven't seen much interest in them around the CA/SA section. Maybe there should be a dwarf cichlid forum or add them to the Angel/Discus board instead of sending people away from MFK. I bet a lot of us keep a few small-fish tanks too. (Personally I don't)
