I would like to know what this is caught this in a cast net at my lake where if ish i think it is a tilapia im not 100% sure would like some feedback on this.

Thats a tilapia, they are wild in south florida

tilapia. I love fishing in florida because you never know what you are going to catch since so many exotics have been released, while in WV you can pretty well guess what you will get on the end of the line

what type of tilapia is this i was thinking of stealing some eggs from the lake and raising thme but what type of tilapia is it

I would check out Florida fishing regulations before take live tilapia to home for raising them. This tilapia appeared to be blue tilapia.
