I'm sorry to say the mystery Hap recently lost a big fight and was injured so badly that I euthanized him.
He never colored up any better than when originally photographed. I'm sure he was just an unidentifiable hybrid.
I've got another mystery for you guys. This little Mbuna came in with a shipment of Yellow Tail Aceis about two months ago at my LFS. No one could ID the little guy.
I liked his bad attitude towards his much larger tankmates so much I bought him.
My guess is a juvenile male Red Top Greshakei, but I could be wrong.
