PS: do I need to be feeding it while it in the pond?I had heard you dont feed goldfish during the winter...there are goldfish in there somwhere.
see if it eats, if it gets really cold they kinda just shut down, and do not eat much, but i would think that on a warm day they would hunt.

Scroll down to the 6th row of fish, and the warmouth is right next to the green sunfish (Lepomis cyanellus).
Compare those two pics to senor pescados's fish, and it's pretty easy to see.
See the striated pattern behind the warmouth's eye? Notice the lack of that pattern behind senor pescado's fish..... aaand the green sunfish pic.

I put it in my pond and it stayed there for maybe a month before jumping out over a double stacked cinder block border.

lol! too bad for the sunnie anyway u can go fish for it anytime!theyre everywhere! LITERALLY!
He was the only inhabitant at the time,Ive tried a few things in there before him.I dont know what I want to restock the pond with but I am currently making it maybe 4 times bigger.
